Hello, New World: Symbiotic is Now Powered by Omni SolverNet on Testnet

“Hello, World.”
This simple line of code is more than just syntax. It's one of the most recognizable signals that a system is live, a creator is present – that something new is beginning.
History is full of moments that sparked new eras. Flight was fantasy until the Wright brothers took off. The moon was unreachable until Neil Armstrong’s small step changed everything. The world felt isolated until the Internet revealed the power of connection.
Each of these moments represent the advent of a new paradigm that changed the world forever, moments that split time into the before and after. Now, it’s crypto’s turn.
Leaving the “Before” of Crypto Behind with Omni SolverNet
For too long, using apps onchain meant dealing with too many complexities to count. Every action – bridging, switching networks, and gas fee calculations – was a workaround that attempted to patch a fragmented system.
We told ourselves this was fine, that this was just how crypto worked. But it was never how crypto was meant to work.
With SolverNet’s very first integration, that changes for good.
For the first time, users can deposit into Symbiotic – the first feature-complete shared security protocol with over $1 billion TVL – without having to leave the app. With just one click, you can deposit into Symbiotic from Base without worrying about bridging your assets to Ethereum L1. Behind the curtain, Omni SolverNet handles the complexity. But to the you, it’s crypto working as it was intended.
Celebrating Omni SolverNet with Our Incentivized Testnet
To celebrate Omni SolverNet’s first integration, we’re launching an incentivized testnet program. You can earn points by depositing into Symbiotic from Base Sepolia, using Omni SolverNet under the hood.
To participate in our incentivized testnet, follow these steps:
- Add Base Sepolia as a custom network in your wallet with these settings:

- Head to the Omni Base Sepolia Faucet. Enter your address and request testnet ETH and wstETH on Base Sepolia.
- Navigate to the wstETH vault on Symbiotic’s testnet interface, powered by Omni.
- Connect your wallet. Under the “Deposit” tab, enter the amount of wstETH that you’d like to deposit and click “Deposit from Base”. Note: the maximum deposit amount on testnet is 1 wstETH in a single transaction.
- Finalize your deposit with the pop ups that appear and click “Done”.

In the end, you’re not just using an app. You’re taking part in ushering in a new paradigm for crypto.
SolverNet: Ushering in a New Paradigm for Crypto
With that, we say:

Because this is the beginning of something bigger. A world where chains don’t matter, where user experience isn’t compromised, where developers build without borders and users move without friction.
